Child Mortality Article.

I think that it is outstanding that so many more people are being saved than of the previous day. I think that even though 10,000 people is quite a big number, we still have a long way to go to achieve a perfect world.
The numbers are so high because the 3rd world part of earth is starting to use more and more immunizations against measles, malaria etc. .
I think that we can make these numbers go even lower by sustaining the amount of immunized people we have and spread out the word farther to other countries.
The thing that stuck out for me is that the percent of children under 5 dying has decreased by 30% and growing.

Playing for Change Reflection

I think the main message of this is that we can achieve bigger, more important things if we stick together as one family and work hard together. The first way to start this (as he said) was with music. A common source which everyone can relate to.
I thought that it was really cool that people all over the world thought that it was easy to contribute, which is what we have been trying to tell them all this time.
I think this will make a difference because the first step to solve the big problems e.g. global warming, is working together as a team and cooperating with each other. Which is exactly what I saw in the video, this is also why its important.

Peace

I don't think that we can live without peace because a country without peace would probably mean a country with bombs dropping every 2seconds, also making it impossible to develop.

Peace Day Video Reflection.

I think the main ideas of the movie was that peace day was working and it is possible to make peace if you really commit to it. Also that they are trying to get everyone in the world to realize that peace day is on the 21st September.
I think peace is important because without peace one nation cannot develop with another and will have a hated country.

What are Global Issues and Why do I Care?

I think Global Issuses are Issues that are around the world. They are issues that are very hard to resolve and are also very important to resolve for the world to be a better place.
I care because people from around the world are dying and nobody is doing anything about it.
